SDA CRS Stands - Read this

I have a buddy that is willing to build twenty or so of these...

They will be built to the EXACT specs of the original, same tubing - powder coating the whole nine yards

We are projecting 100 bucks + shipping

These would be brand new hand built and my buddy is a hell of a fabricator.

Interest?

    My buddy is going to make an example...

    Just a quick design change to the stands he is going to 45 all of the joints so there will be no plastic caps...

    And realistically they can be a gloss or textured finish

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Hey - I know these stands are something Polkies like to have and I have a buddy that can make them. He told me what he could realistically make them for and I am just checking to see if there is interest.

    Yeah my buddy works for a race team and fabricates race seats so he can basically throw them in the powder coating booth at the same time and save $$$

    But the cost is a projection it could be higher/lower

    I think it's a great idea to offer these. I hope you sell a lot of them.

    Without the plastic caps will there be another way to add shot or sand?

    If you do 20 or more that price will be about right.. after you purchase materials, saw the material,fit and weld them together, grind the welds smooth, powdercoat, pack and ship..

    I say your just about right.. If anything it will go up a little..

    I have a feeling this project never got off the ground, hopefully Trey still has this contact and can make a couple, but it might be a economics of scale where it only works if he makes x quantity.
