I need to buy a new camera and know very little about them no less which one to buy. Since this one will probably end up like the last one, dropped and busted I look to spend about $100.00
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Any 10mp Nikon or Canon should do the trick with ease. Go to Target and Wally world, see what they have and take a few pics using the demo models.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Canon customer service did right by me when they repaired my 6 year old out of warranty powershot for free. Much like Polk Audio, the C.S. will remain a positive factor for any future purchases.

The Lumix cameras are very nice, and lots to choose from for a little more than $100. Here's a good example:

Honestly...at the $100 price point there is very little difference between cameras. Pick a Nikon, Canon or Panasonic that looks and feels good to you and call it a day."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

NJ - I have a very well maintained Sony w/ Zeiss lens, 5 megapixel that I'd love to move down the road for $30. It's my personal camera, takes great pictures, lot of features including night shot for those intimate moments and is what provided every pic in the Flea Market and audio show since I joined. It comes with original everything including box, cables, charger and paperwork. If you don't love it, just send it back, pay later.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

For the basic camera, I like Canon

Take Doro up on his offer. Can't go wrong with that kind of deal unless you were looking for a gift for someone else and that might possibly mean you were looking for new.
