A woman traveling on New York's Metro North train line was recorded by a fellow passenger telling train employees that she is too "well-educated" to be told to quiet down and not use profanity in her cell-phone conversation.

"Do you know what schools I've been to? How well-educated I am?" she asks the train employee, who is seen explaining to another employee that she asked the passenger to stop using the "F-bomb."

"I'm sorry do you think I'm a little hoodlum?" she asks, then demands her money back and dares the conductor to stop the train.

The lights should have been turned off for a few minutes. The riders would have handled the situation properly.

She might have lost several teeth, but she damn sure would have stopped the yapping.

That girl is the daughter of a family friend of my fiance. Her parents are both doctors who literally wrote the Harvard Medical books. I've met her before and frankly she is more than a little stuck up.

    Mike,

I've met many stuck up doctors before. They all seems they want to the wrong school. Anyway, I don't mind the stuck up and I like the way she is going to drop the F-bomb on me.

    Bring it on, baby!

Simple fix, Only texting allowed just like they do here in Japan. It's considered rude here to use your phone while taking public train, but it prevents issues like this.

Looks like she's under quite a bit of stress-induced neuron overload.

I like the person filming. Gettin' a little creep shot. Man, sista culda trampled that girl's ****. But i guess the well educated would have sued and got a nice payoff.

Only thing to do as a bystander in that case is LOL and point fingers at the snotty chick. Might be enough to make her go home, look into the mirror and commence cutting emo style.

The whole cell phone thing has gotten way out of hand. The big wireless companies have got consumers right where they want them. Yesterday, I was sitting at an outdoor patio having a beer and at least half the people sitting in my vacinity were texting, while, presumedly spending time socialzing with friends. Maybe I'm just getting old and I remember the time when people actually had face to face conversations, without the aid of wireless electronic devices. I just find it rude. Another thing I find extreamly rude is when I'm talking on the phone, and the other person wants to put me on hold because call waiting is beeping in their ear. Don't get me wrong, I love technology as much as the next person but I think instead of connecting people in a tangible way, it actually has made people obsessed with a detached form of communication.

reno, i agree with you, but at the same time, i am guilty of everything you just typed. but what really chaps my hide is when folk do it whilst driving. i do it at stoplights but not to the point of missing the fact the light has turned green. others, well, they're just not as good as me. in fact, they piss me off. everytime i have to road rage on someone who's just cut me off or flubbing up the flow of traffic, by the time i get beside them i find they are on the phone. texting or talking.

nobody ever seems willing to pull over and "discuss" the situation so all i'm left to do is throw my arm out the window, flip the bird and a fist and then make a signal with my hand like i'm hanging up the phone.
