Just bought a PSW125 from futureshop, and i'm having trouble hooking up to my reciever.
My previous sub had a single preamp location in the rear that connected to the one in my reciever. On the new polk psw125 there is no single location, there is several places to run speaker wire and then 2 connectors for left and right rca's. But theres no place for a single subwoofer rca to go.
I'm just wondering if i got the wrong sub in the box, it sys psw125 on the upc on the sub itself.
thank you for the help

There are several ways to hook it up. The easiest is to run your sub line from your receiver to either one of the sub inputs. "Multiple Hook Up Options LFE*, line and speaker level inputs, and speaker level inputs allow easy connection to any system."Pioneer Elite SC-35, Polk RTA (Real Time Array) 12's,

This is culled straight from the Polk website PSW125 manual.
OPTION #1— Receivers that include a “Sub Out” feature—the most common hookup method with Dolby? Digital receivers.
• Connect a single RCA cable from the “SUB OUT” of your receiver to the LFE input of the subwoofer. This connecting method bypasses the subwoofer’s internal filter and relies on the filter built into your receiver. Make no other signal connections. Do not use speaker wire to make the connection to the subwoofer.
• Connect all speakers directly to the receiver. When using method #1, adjust your receiver’s speaker configurations as follows: Set Front, Center and Surround speakers to “small.”
• Depending on your speakers’ bass output capabilities, set the crossover frequency on the receiver to 80Hz for tower and bookshelf speakers (speakers with a woofer 5 1/4" in diameter or larger) and 100-120Hz for satellite speakers.
• Receiver Settings: • Front, Center, and Surrounds = “SMALL” • Subwoofer = “ON,” or “YES,” or “PRESENT”
Consult your receiver’s owner’s manual for speaker configuration.Pioneer Elite SC-35, Polk RTA (Real Time Array) 12's,

The manual for the sub should say whether a single RCA should be hooked up to the left or the right. You could also just get a Y connector and spilt the mono signal from your receiver to both the left and right.
