HSU MBM-12 MKI Mid-bass module - Sealed

Up for grabs is a HSU MBM-12 MKI Mid-bass module. This amp has been modified by HSU to run in 'sealed mode'.

I'm the second owner of this unit, and do not have the original box.

Asking $250 for the module. I prefer to deal locally, but will ship it if someone is willing to pay the cost of shipping + shipping materials (will have to double box it so it won't be cheap).

It's a nice companion to my VTF-3, and really great for music. I hate to let it go, but need a new laptop for grad school!

    I believe the only difference between MKI and MKII is that MKII can run in sealed mode. So if yours has the option to run in sealed mode, it's pretty much a very early MKII. So this is pretty much a MKII sub!

    I've owned one and it gives a good thump ;-).

    Actually to clarify....this one can run in sealed mode only. It doesn't have the variable tuning like the MKII.

    Ah it is one of the first generation MKII that came out of Hsu. I remember someone told Dr. Hsu that he wanted a sealed sub to blend better, and it worked so well, they offered to release sealed versions until they mass produced the variably tuned MBM12. Still a great sub that blends even better.
