Fishing in Arizona

We all know that nuclear tests in the desert in the 50's resulted in the growth of gigantic mutant ants who menaced cities in the American south-west (as documented in the 1954 film, "THEM").

But ..... what is going on out there now to cause such havoc as wildfires and things like this:

GFsunfish_nl060311A1.jpg

A 5-pound, 8.8-ounce, 16.75-inch redear sunfish with a 19-inch girth.

A 5-POUND 8.8-OUNCE
16.75-INCH
19-INCH GIRTH

SUNFISH !

"Robert Lawler, of Lake Havasu, Arizona, landed a huge 5-pound, 8.8-ounce, 16.75-inch redear sunfish on Lake Havasu. Lawler used a Texas-rigged 7-inch Power Worm to land the Texas-sized fish that featured a 19-inch girth. "

Whatever you people out there in Arizona are doing, you might want to stop before it gets much more out of hand !!

I've heard of fish stories before, as we all have but damn. Even with the photo, I'm still in disbelief. Holy crap Batman!

Hi dragon, yeah, it's a fantastic place to live 9 months out of the year, these 3 months of summer are Hell on Earth, here's Gene's boat's the two little ones are kind of hid towards the house, you can just see the masts.

That's certainly good news. But .... 50 foot tall ..... it may already be too late. Be on the lookout for any signs of horror, shock, frenzy, or devastation.
