100 years old today. An American original and still going strong (no need for any BS from all you Apple-ettes). This company changed all of our lives without a doubt.

The original think pad was analog!

I know they had to do it for business purposes but selling off their PC and Laptop business to the Chinese Lenovo unnerved me a bit.

There were Lenovo machines in almost all of my Science classrooms in Beijing last year! Since my first Laptop was a very nice Thinkpad, I had difficulty seeing all that.

But then again they have pretty much redefined their business offerings to serve networks and large concerns!

They're also losing the battle for the largest fastest computer--which, if I'm not mistaken, is NOW located in China? How much are we 'willing' to cede before we wake up?
