Funny quote about Matthew Polk

There is an interview in the July/August 2011 issue of the absolute sound, page 110, with Andy Payor, founder of Rockport Technologies. (I have never heard of either). Anyway, he is asked how he got into loudspeaker and turntable design. His answer is:
"But one day in the early 1980s I saw an ad in an audio magazine with Matthew Polk in his white lab coat, and I said to Tracie [Payor's wife]: "If this guy can do it, I can, too." So I set off with a zeal to build a loudspeaker"
I wonder if he bought a white lab coat?

Those are some pretty cool looking speakers- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Do you mean that you've never heard of Rockport Technologies!?
They have made some pretty amazing turntable hardware - not quite Best Buy grade...
