Anybody have some exp. With a HH Scott 420A integrated amp? Picked this up. Just started playing with it and damn this thing is a surprising little beast. Spose to be 40/45w SS amp from 1978 . Cool as hell looking and the sound is just stupid, quiet, clean, got some balls in the base end and sweet tuby sound. What I've read about it doesn't do it justice!!! Curious if I've stepped in it or what??? The net says its made in Japan,owned by a German co. Sold out of Mass. USA, designed in the USA feedback appreciated!:biggrin:

    Yes that's it fastz28! Stupid thing is really warmed up now and is very warm for a SS amp. Kinda reminds me of my parasound just not as dynamic. But I was going to put it in my 14 year old daughters room to replace a rotel reciever I gave her, but now I don't think so!!! ( Bad daddy bad daddy) may just try to find a tuner (matching) as a neat retro system. Just takes me back to the day! Need to find some speakers with a senitivity rating of about 50 so I can crank it up!!! On my rta 12b's can't get past the 9:00 possition without my wife screaming "TURN IT DOWN"%#@%"LOL this must be fairly high current for the low wattage. At normal listening level the meters read .01 watt@8olms.

    I found those threads before I bought it and nothing I've read gave me any idea it would sound this nice! If it wasn't for the price ( stupid cheep) I wouldn't have it! Damn glad I did!!! Having fun with it!
