    I just cannot imagine being truly tortured with sound. I mean think about sounds that are extremely annoying or irritating to you, and then imagine that times 10. Amazing the psychological toll that something as simple as sound can have on a person.

    I think it is more like PTSD like Chinese Water Torture.
