Home Improvement Question....
Has anyone used Ditra, and if so what Thinset Mortar did you use with it?

http://www.johnbridge.com/forum is probably a better place to ask that question.
But from a bit of poking around on the site and looking at the specs, etc. (and my recollections from my days as a journeyman tile setter), it looks like you use unmodified thinset for everything except wood, and latex modified thinset if bonding directly to wood. The correct trowel size appears to be 11/64” x 11/64”.Turntable: Empire 208
Arm: Rega 300
Cart: Shelter 501 III
Phono Pre: Aural Thrills
Digital: Pioneer DV-79ai
Pre: Conrad Johnson ET3 SE
Amp: Conrad Johnson Evolution 2000
Cables: Cardas Neutral Reference
Speakers: SDA 2.3TL, heavily modified -

Open up the Schluter handbook....there is a wealth of knowledge to be read. I'm also looking at Ditra and this was the first place i went.Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
Ok I'm asking about this because what I read was Mapei Kerabond was better then Mapei Keraflor thinset. The issue I can get Keraflor but I can't get Kerabond without ordering it. So I'm confused on what people are using....
