Wall Mounting Hardware
Hey guys,
Pardon the redundant post if this has been asked several times.
I just picked up a set of Monitor40 II speakers, and I am looking for a solution to mount them to a wall. A basic shelf is not an ideal solution. Any thoughts?

Use Btech BT77 or AM40 Pinpoint mounts (same thing).
Here you go:

Here they are on Amazon for $60:

+1 to zeros... if you are on the east coast between boston and DC, you can order them from JandR Music World in NYC and they will generally come next day via their free ground shipping. Great customer service, too.

Very good thank you!
However, I have to concur with the guys at the end who voice thier fear of drlling a hole in the speaker cab.
Has any thought of a better solution for anchoring them to the stand been thought of? -
The B Tech / AM40 mounts squeeze the bottom of the speaker for a tight fit. If you are afraid of it falling still, here is what I was trying to explain in that thread:
The terminal cup in the back of the Monitor 40 is held in with 4 screws, one in each corner.
You could take a metal bracket or piece of steel wire and attach it to the speaker bracket then remove one of these screws and attach the bracket / wire to the speaker with a longer screw back into the same hole in the terminal cup.
See how this bracket uses a piece of steel wire as a backup:
You could do something like that from the terminal cup to the Btech bracket.
Or use a standard car audio back bracket to do the same thing:

Velcro! Its what I used and it worked great!"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
wouldn't something like blu-tack work? You could line the base and sides with it...
