I'm going to get 2 Polk SR124's, and I want an amp that can push them for under 500 dollars. I've heard that the PA 1200.1 can't push 2 of those subs.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance

are you SR124s single or dual voice coils?
Basically what will be the final Ohm load your amp will see - 2 or 4.
Either way PA1200.1 will push them but if your subs are single voice coils then u'll be a few watts short, DVC SR subs are ideal here thou.

If you're going to drive a 1 ohm load with the 2 SR 124's then the PA 1200.1 will be fine. 600 watts to each sub is plenty in my opininon.

In that case PA1200.1 will do great.
Yes, there's other amps out there that will have more "headroom" wattage but for the price you really cant go wrong.
