Anyone familiar with Allied Knight kp-50 preamp?

I just purchased two tube preamps off the bay last night. I figured they would make a great summer project repairing upgrading and then side by side comparison. The first is a Dynaco PAS-3 (literaly tons of info online for this) with 60 cycle noise on the phono stage. The second is an Allied Knight KP-50 model 83YX768. Not much info on these, but I did find a manual for it to get started. I suspect that they are of similar vintage, and therefore they will both benefit from an upgraded power supply, some new capacitors and resistors, and a thorough application of caig's to the selectors and potentiometers.
Any thoughts?

Hello, I am in desperate need of a legible schematic for a knight kp-50 if you still have one. Thanks

Information for the Allied/Knight products is fairly hard to find -- there is an EICO/Knight/etc. group on Yahoo Groups that might be worth a try -- although that group is focused on ham radio & test equipment rather than hifi.
I assume you checked the usual sources for manuals (e.g., http://www.hifiengine.com).
Also, of course, for very basic information (catalog blurbs) there's http://www.alliedcatalogs.com
EDIT: This appears to be the KP-50 (not that the model number is present in the ad copy or visible on the front panel!).
ooh, this might be helpful; the cosmetics are different, but it looks like (?!?) the same layout on the front panel -- maybe the circuitry is identical, or similar, too?
