I want to thank the members of this site for all the great posts and the love they have for all makes of stereo equipment. Over the last year I have had a blast hunting for vintage stereo eq., I have filled my house and now I'm going to fill other households. I've opened a vintage stereo outlet in Ithaca N.Y. I have no idea if it will make money and I don't care. The hunt and the conversations are payment enough.

Congrats! I'm doing something similar in a small way. Trying to buy 3 wkends a month and sell one weekend at a local flea market as well as CL. I'm probably burning more in gas than it's worth and don't plan on getting rich, but it sure is fun and allows me to try alot of different gear. Best of luck to you.

    Cayuga-
My little collection looks similar. Either I start selling some stuff for a little profit or I may need a divorce lawyer- my wife is tired of 13 pairs of speakrs, 6 multi cd changers, 5 amps, 4 dbl cassette dks, ect taking over the house. Again best of luck to you and I 2nd the vote on if you have a website post the link, I'm always looking for more gear lol. Travis

Cool enuff! I get to Ithaca occasionally (OK, very occasionally... but I do get there). I'll bring more money even than usual next time (squander most of it on wine and birding-related stuff for Mrs. H - Cornell University is, as you may know, sort of like Mecca for birders)!

Thanks for the support and I'm very familiar with the Cornell birds, even the ones that fly.

I have a couple of colleagues who teach a summer session and do research every summer at Cornell...hmmm. Maybe I should visit them sometime?

Good luck with the side line!
