Clarence Clemons had a stroke.What a shame.
A great sax player and showman and one of the nicest folks you'd want to meet.
I was lucky to meet him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame years ago when he was making a commercial for it.
Just a freak timing thing and when he got a break he sat and talked for 10 minutes took pics with us and was just as nice and down to earth as anyone could be.

    I gentle giant of a man, feel better soon Big Man! His health hasn't been so hot lately, several knee and hip replacements :frown:

    Always carry a couple 81mg asprins folks, a stroke can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

    Hope things get better!

    As for strokes, aspirin is not the end-all for all of them, in fact it's probably a death pill for a hemorrhagic stroke--when you want blood to clot? Not all strokes are ischemic?

    So take care with that aspirin and Coumadin. Discuss the pluses and minuses with your physician and the varieties of stroke that you may be more susceptible.

    sucks.of all the POS "musicians" out there Clarence had to go.i first saw him in Nov 1978 and last in Nov 2009 with close to 100 shows in between.
