Have I damaged speakers?

Last night I switched on my TV to a movie, and thought I'd hear the sound track through my RM6600(PSW350) setup. Only problem, someone had cranked the volume on my amp up to the highest setting. The amp is a Yamaha 80 watt RMS per channel.
When it switched on, the sound blared for about 3-4 seconds before I could switch it off. I then slowly increased the volume to normal listening levels and it seems to be okay.
Could this amount of volume for that amount of time have damaged the speakers at all, or am I just being paranoid?
I guess I am pretty fanatical about my Polks and won't sleep well until I get some reassurance.
Regards,
Sean.

Hey Sean
The 6600s can handel 125 watts peak. If you aren't hearing any crackling and all drivers or tweeters are working. Dont worry! If any of this is happening call Polk they are real good about taking care of the customers, THE BEST at takng care of customers.

Thanks Chris,
That is a relief. You get real attached to these little fellas, and I wouldn't want to hurt them: they tend to become your pride and joy (sort of like if someone dents your new car just as you are driving it out of the showroom!).
Love this system. Boy is it good.
Just read a great review about it:

Also among other rave reviews, one I posted a few weeks ago:
