    With all due respect to a bud, slight disagreement with F1 on this. Without the SDA IC these are still very fine sounding speakers, but what the IC adds in the way of a soundstage has to be heard.

    Imagine the footsteps in Pink Floyd's "Run" starting in your kitchen, traveling across your Den and disappearing down the hallway... That's what the SDA effect adds.

    For most music the effect is a big plus. Solo piano is one of the few things I enjoy more with the IC unplugged. With it in place you end up with a 12' wide piano sounstage... just not very natural sounding.

    As F1 stated the IC's are available round here. You can also get the plans if you're into DIY.

    These are a very choice looking pair of SRS's from what appears to be a very reputable ebay Seller. The original BIN was $1500, and they were an good deal at that price. They may well go for more than that now.

    If they are that close to you, get your e-mail on for a demo in the next couple days.

    I did drive up and take a look at these, very nice condition, only one minor scratch on the side of one of them. They were not wired so I didn't get to here them, had the kids with me and the two little ones started to get into things and chase the dog around, the guy was real nice about it but I could tell it was really making him nervous so I got out of there.Now my question, what would be the fair market value on e-bay for these so I can get my bid on.

    Fair price??? Beginning of the year these were ebaying for $2000. Then as with most listing, prices slid.

    I'd peg these in the $1400 to $1600 range. I know they are only at $700 with just inside 2 days to go, but there is always a flurry of bidding late in big items like these...

    How are your sniping skills?

    He did not find them on here, he found them last night and asked me about them. Of course, I told him what yall said and he is very excited. I have learned to not to tell him stuff, as he does not bid very high and is a waste of time.....

    Good work, you will love them like a pretty date with woofers ;) The best part is they are somewhat local eh?

    Lots of good options available for them, just keep it 200wpc+ and I don't think you can go wrong. I would be biased and say look at some used Parasound equipment, but there are some great performers in NAD/Carver/Rotel/ADCOM/Anthem...all are units forum members own or use.

    Thanks guys, he has a yamaha m-80 that he picked up with the sda's that is going for around $320 now on e-bay, is that a good price or should I go another route. can spend a little more to get more bang for the buck. business loud and clear, the guy is kinda like a horse trader, even traded someone for the polks
