Alright folks - I have a steal for you. Move out the way LSi15 ;) hahaha

Anyways these speakers sell for roughly 5,500 bucks -- and I am going to sell them for 900 dollars + shipping or local pick up!

SAY WHAT? Ok here is the catch - one of the bass cabinets has some damage. Honestly I was contemplating fixing it but I just dont have time. But pretty much if you were to remove part of the veneer on the front (there is a joint seam) and redo an entire side they would look good as new with proper skill. Ty was willing to send me enough veneer to complete this task for 40 bucks shipped...

Other than that - the other bass cabinet and the monitors are 8/10 - possibly 9/10 condition.

I went through the bass cabinets and re-wired them because they had come loose during the last owners venture hence why he stopped using them. The internal parts came loose...

I liquid nailed the inductors and caps into place though so they wont come off anymore! :)

The grills also could be tightened up in places but otherwise are fine.

The finish is cherry. (See pic)

To the nitty gritty -

These are stock except I disconnected the notch filter so the switch on the back is useless and I relocated a tweeter wire that makes these speakers so awesome children cry.

I cant verify this it uses one of the Scanspeak Classic tweeters -
Like this -

and a 7" Seas Excel midbass

And 4 x 8" Peerless woofers --

Cherry finish

DH Labs internal wiring and Hovland capacitors in the tweeter network. I would be more than happy to upgrade the crossovers for the cost of parts...

I will have more pics in a few days or upon request - just getting caught up around here but wanted to go ahead and get these listed and going to clear up space.

Hands down for 900 bucks you will not find a better set of speakers, PERIOD. They sell for 1800 all day. I sold my modded pair for 2,500.00

I attached a picture of the worst of the damage that is visible - the wheels are not included. I will include brass spikes you just have to track down the inserts (lowes, parts express)

How much do these weigh? Since I have everything up for sale I still want to stay in audio so moving to a cheaper setup is of interest to me. I'm in Boston if you can calculate shipping, though the weight also interests me for knowing how hard they are to lug around

Since they break up into bass cabinets and monitors weight is hardly an issue...

Bass cabinets weigh maybe 70 lbs and are easy to pick up since they are smallerish and the monitors weigh 35...

Id be willing to maybe meet you 6 hours out (200 in gas for me)

I am running just the monitors by themselves right now and with my little tweaks (pat on my back!!) they sound AWESOME!
