I am looking to purchas e anew plasma tv and am trying to decide if i should purchase a new audio system. I have a Kenwood receiver (KR v6080) that i purchased in 1996 that has DolbyProLogic to power a sorround sound with the Bose cube speakers as front, rear and subwoofer speakers, an Infinty center channel speaker.

The center channel speaker is too large (heavy)to mount to the wall and i don't want a cluttered component deck beneath the mounted tv.

Should i keep the system and exchange the center channel speaker for a new soundbar type or is it time to reinvest in one of those Sony - 1000W 5.1-Ch. 3D/Wi-Fi Blu-ray Home Theater System???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Rick

Rick, you might try posting this in a different forum. Don't think this "Forum Testing Area" gets many lookers.

Bose and Sony need to go bye bye, You want Pioneer & Polk & Panasonic (50" 1080p minimum) I've read that Polk has a great soundbar available that can simplify things a lot, good luck!
