Excellent condition from a non-smoking home with original box, manual, alignment tool and reprints of reviews. This is literally the best imaging speaker I've ever heard and can compete head one with any monitor out there, regardless of cost. These retailed for $3K new so my price of $1275 + $50 shipping is a tremendous opportunity for the high end enthusiast. Speakers include the RC upgrade to the back of the speakers. Speakers are located in San Antonio, TX and available for audition prior to purchase. If shipped, shipping will be via FEDEX. Email if interested.

    Merlin RC network (just view them as part of the overall voicing of the speakers).

    For someone who prizes focus, resolution, purity, and above all else, supreme musicality, Merlins are wonderful speakers (I have not heard TSM, but own the similar VSM-SE). Bobby Palkovic, the designer and manufacturer, knows his speakers and knows what works and doesn't work with his speakers, so new owner should contact him regarding synergistic amplification, source, and cabling.

    If they are anything like my VSM-SE, you could probably throw well over $10,000 - $20,000 of quality surrounding components and still not exceed the resolving capabilities of these speakers. They are not finicky in terms of power and current, but they do need very high quality signal upstream to perform their best. Probably doesn't like silver cabling and will most likely do best with tube amplification. e. g. http://www.ars-sonum.com/
