Another break in Question
Ok , Bought a pair if RTI4's.
Live in a trailer!!! In WV, impossible!
Hillbillies like music too.
Can't play them real loud.
What about break in period?
Does it happen when played at moderate volumes?

I wouldn't worry about it - just play 'em and enjoy 'em! They sound nice right out of the box!

When I'm breaking a new bike (for racing not for street), I run it hard, obviously enough, we call it a "hard break in".
I didn't treat my speakers the same way, I broke them in gently and gradually. If you can't break them in at levels that you want to play them at? Don't worry about it and just enjoy them. When the time comes for you to let them break loose and go all out? They will be plenty broken in. In other words, as mentioned before? Just enjoy them.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

You are right. I have them hooked up to a Kenwood. Really not the best receiver, A friend loaned it to me until I get the unit I want. I hear the potential for great sound from these speakers with the right electronics.
Even running them with a Kenwood they sound pretty impressive but not what they can sound like. These are great speakers right out of the box. -
