Here's an old thread I started in my early days thats basically the same.
    http://clubpolk.polkaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7187

Thing I considered was upping the tweeters to 1.2tl 3000's as they are reported to be smoother. But the cost ($500 to 600) and the need to modify the crossovers as well, put me off. Note that there is a link within the old thread to a bit on the crossovers.

F1 nut upgraded his speaker posts, but that thread has vanished. Too bad, it was a great step by step.

Not alot that is easy to do, but you can optimize the room placement. Also be sure the are set up properly, e.g., level, aligned. And if on carpet spike them rather than use the disc feet.

Is there any specific aspect of their performance you're focussing upon?

If someone would tell me how to make my pics smaller, I'll repost the step by step.

So that's the deal? The pics were too big?

If you have MS "Picture It!", it's easy. Open save as "Web Ready" pic and the kb requirement is drastically reduced. I would guess Photoshop and other programs do the same.

If you no can do, mail to me and I'll shrink them for you.
