Pioneer 7.1 Channel HDMI 3D Home Theatre Receiver (VSX-925-K)
What would this Receiver be like to rum Monitors 70's up front in a 7.1 setup? Not really sure what I need in a Receiver to Run these. Looking to spend around $500. Thanks

I don't think you would have any issues with something like that. However, check out unitedonlineshopping.com if you OK with a refurb, you can get into the SC series for some coin like that. I didn't pay much more then that for my SC-25 and I love it.

What he said, they have very good prices if you're ok buying out of warranty. The VSX-23TXH that they have for $399 is their best model under $500, and is a steal at that price.

Would it be OK ? Sure...it will work fine. But keep in mind in 7 channel mode, I'd be surprised if it pushes more than 35 watts per channel. Plus it doesn't have preouts to add an amp down the road when you feel a need to upgrade your speakers.
That said, I would look for a used elite model or SC model, both would be an improvement in power,SQ, and have preouts.
