Alright!

My friend has lost his mind and he is selling his gear. To be perfectly clear - I am handling the money, shipping, everything of all of this gear. It is in my possession and I am selling it - period.

Item #1 -

Tyler Acoustics PD-80

What Ty says -
PD80's
Shown in Ribbon Mahogany with optional 500 watt amps to power woofers ($1200 pr/US)

Rear ported
Drivers: 2 - 15" woofers, 2 -10" mids and 1 - horn tweeter

Freqency Response: 36-20k
Sensitivity: 101db
Impedance: 4 ohms
Power: 1-600wpc
Size: 18 x 14 x 65
Weight: 200 lbs each

Factory Direct: $5,500 pr/US
Premium finishes and upgrades extra

Grills: $75 US/pr.

pd80_lg.jpg

These have the amplifiers and the grills -- The speakers are pretty much MINT except for one dust cap on the woofer is dented in - purely cosmetic. Everything works flawlessly and they are amazing with a low wattage tube amp or a balls to the wall solid state system. Top of the line Eminence drivers - just a great set of speakers that are a piece of gear that must be seen.

Price: 2600 local pick up or + shipping or gas for me to drive it to you or meet you half way... Will drive up to 6 hours one way. I have the original boxes but shipping will have to be freight and probably palletized....

Item #2 -
Parasound HCA1500a - condition 7/10 have some small quarter size knicks on the front plate...

$425.00 shipped!

Item #3 -

VMPS Larger with TC Sounds Passive Radiator

I am actually the original owner on this sub, I sold it to Tom, then I bought it back from Tom and then my buddy bought it from me and now it is back to me!!

With the TC Sounds PR this thing is a power house for HT or solid as a rock for HT - incredible value for the money period. This has the Megawoofer - condition is 7/10 due to marks on the top from where Tom had set some gear on top of it (not very noticeable) and the base of the unit has some fractures in the paint (Normal for this model)

attachment.php?attachmentid=31749&d=1204466979

Price is $500.00 local pick up or + shipping or gas - 6 hour delivery!

You will not find a better sub for this for this price - period.

Item #4 -

Crown XLS1000 - 1050 watts at 4 ohms with a built in low pass crossover makes this the best subwoofer amp on the planet. Not to mention virtually no fan noise (and I mean none!!) and only weighs 8 pounds!

I am also the original owner on this, still has two years of warranty left and I have the original box.

76358_l.jpg

Price $200 + shipping or buy with the VMPS for $150.00

Item #5 -

Definitive Tech CLR1000 with the new drivers - INCREDIBLE center channel!

This is modified with Auricap on the tweeter and Dayton on the woofer (or Solen) - Mills resistors. This center can flat out rock your world with clarity.... This does not have a Definitive logo since it is a Center/Left/Right speaker.

!B)21bWw!2k~$(KGrHqMOKkUEwQ7)2kckBMPPl-sfY!~~_1.JPG?set_id=8800005007

Price is $300.00 shipped

Item #6 -

Definitive BP2X

Mint condition - like new - comes with original box... literally used... 3 months?

Definitive%20Technology_Definitive-Technology-BP2X-Black-Pair_400x400_s.jpg

$280.00 shipped!

Item # 7 -

Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH

Great receiver - I might actually buy this one off of him... great condition - maybe some minor hair line scratches from cleaning but otherwise perfect. Contains all paper work!

VSX-21TXH_FRONT_300.jpg

All prices are OBO - I also have a host of cables available...

I can take pictures upon request and I will have actual pictures available beginning of next week when I get more time!

Thanks guys!

$400.00 shipped takes the cake!

I dont like to "ruin" sales - the Crown will cost nothing, it weighs 8 pounds! lol - but I am assuming WA is Washington like West Coast - the VMPS cost just a little over 150 bucks. It weighs 140 pounds in the box.

(I shipped one of these to a guy in Cali about three years ago and I believe his total because I had to have UPS put another box around it - it costs a little over 214 dollars.)

Now I would argue for... just south of 900 bucks - you are still getting a bad **** subwoofer.

Just a fwiw on the Tylers - you will need a truck to pick up the Tylers or a large SUV.

In the boxes they are taller than me and I am 6 ft tall. If I were to take a picture of me standing in front of the boxes they could easily engulf me. These speakers are just flat out insane. To quote Charlie Sheen "Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body"

But whats cool is they are versatile - you can get a nice 1-10 watt tube amp and have amazing lush accurate sound!

Or you can be like my buddy and have a concert experience in your house. These drivers are capable of 130+++db - in your house you will not even scratch the surface of their capabilities, you will never distort them - ever!

The VMPS has this PR -

    165107_thumb_3ec863936edc5e4478357ac662fb7fe0.jpg

    Vs. this PR
    05697d8d.jpg

And when I swapped the PR out it hit deeper, harder, louder - it was a HT experience to behold! Tom and Russ can vouch for this. The results are actually what made me want to build my monster subwoofer.

I just did a Fedex quote to make sure on the VMPS - 195 (assuming my guesstimate weight and dimensions were correct.

Also anything that is purchased between now and Monday will ship Tuesday!

Having owned the smaller Epik I just cant imagine they compare...

VMPS is such an accurate musical sub that can still provide great HT playback... it is just hard to compare

Front what I remember there is maybe three small tiny scratches (at a distance it looks great) -- but up close you can see some imperfections.

I wouldnt mind having it in my rig if that is any recollection

    The box weighs 149.2

What is funny about that is if it weighed .9 pounds more it would cost over 600 bucks to ship.

    Incredible!

Funny how that works, eh? It's kinda like the drinking age in the U.S. A person is 20, and it's one minute from their birthday. Then BAM, one minute later they're suddenly responsible enough to legally purchase alcohol.

(Yeah, that's probably a bad analogy, but oh well.)

VMPS Large Sub came on time with no issues. FedEX guy was muttering under his breath about the weight when he wheeled it into the house. Been playing the snot out of the Larger sub and I must say that it has the most detailed SQ that I have ever heard from any sub that I have owned. It does fill my 6000+ cu ft room. I run it 3db hot from the reciever sub channel setting for LFE and it packs a wollap when called for. Sorry for the guys that passed up this sub as they don't know what they are missing.

Thanx for a great sub, Bill
