Car audio during Baraat for my Indiana Wedding.

I'm getting married to a drop dead unbelievably gorgeous (and intelligent) Indian woman on August 14th. Indian tradition requires that the groom arrive playing awesome tunes in a great procession with his family.

My fiance's mother indicated that a basic boom box is all that is required, but I don't see that being enough to get the "whiteys" loosened up and in the dancing spirit. Plus in the tradition of complete overkill, I've decided a pair of pro speakers and an amp pointed out the back of my Tahoe would be a good solution for music.

Can anyone direct me towards a power inverter that would work for my idea. I haven't selected a pair of pro speakers yet, but I would like to rent some that throw some good bass. I want all the Indian people to look terrified when I'm in full indian attire driving my Dad's Harley at the back of the procession while blaring Riders on the Storm.

Here's what I've found: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&sugexp=ldymls&pq=car+ac+power+generator&xhr=t&q=power+inverter&cp=9&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1438&bih=802&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=7075545105297179477&sa=X&ei=DlrpTa-rOqbL0QGw24WzAQ&sqi=2&ved=0CHkQ8gIwAQ

I think you should go old school and arrive the way they did 100 years ago . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5K8BquH_bjE

Or maybe you can get an even bigger truck (starting at 1:35) . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG2wg6clM5E&NR=1

From what I can tell, a drummer or two is more important than the music source.

We talked about renting a white horse, but the rental price plus the requirement that we have a police escort really drives up the expense quickly. I figured riding in on my Dad's massive and ridiculously loud Harley would be a good way to Americanize the procession a little. Afterall, it's my wedding too.

DC to AC power inverters are notoriously terrible quality for the most part and will put all kinds of interference through your speakers....at least that has been my experience.

If you live near Alabama, you can go to my buddy Steve Cook's shop and he can fix you up. The dude is a car audio genius especially in SPL. :D
