I loved this movie. Great plot and wonderful performances. The Uncut Superbit Version is delightful to watch very sharp and beautiful transfer of video. Colours are natural and true. The audio is clean and has detailed sound. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 tracks are excellent.
This is my first Superbit DVD. High bit rate makes hell of a difference. No extras but I don't care anyways. I'm more concerced about quality of the video and audio. Wish if every DVD gets the same treat. Hope Columbia TriStar will release Black Hawk Down in Superbit Version soon.
I knew this movie since, 1994 but watched it today for the first time and loved it. I work at Best Buy and bought it before the release date.:D

Thanks for the review. I love superbit films but have not heared about the quality of this one. Just watched SWAT in China. God was the quality bad. It would seem they take a camcorder into a theater and record. I did get the jist of the story but I like you love a quality print and dts audio. Enjoy your movies. I can't wait for some up coming releases in October and November. Did anyone say TLOTRTT in SE? Ah should be great.
