Switching back plate and wiring harness between 3.1TL and 2.3TL?

The title says it all. Would a problem arise from using the wiring (to the crossover) and back plate with binding posts from a 3.1TL and putting into a 2.3TL? The colored wires (i.e red, yellow, blue and white) would all be hooked up the same way. There is no difference between the two, correct? If I switch them out there should be no problems right? Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure. If you look at the schematic for the 2.3TL's it notes that the low frequency connections (2 and 3) are reversed. I would remove each and trace the wiring.Political Correctness'.........defined

Just noticed in the notes that that it states that pin # 2 & 3 are reversed. But, reversed compared to what? The non TL 2.3?

You are talking about tracing the wires from the binding posts with the colored (red, yellow, black, and white) bands on the wires to how they connect to the connector on the crossover board Jesse?

Also, if I hook it up and I did not trace it correctly (I think it's the same wiring scheme) what's the worst that can happen (that is if the HF and LF binding post wirings are not the same)?

Traced the wires and they are hooked up exactly the same. I have not actually put a signal through them yet, but it should work fine.
