Hi guys have a quick question regarding the transferable warranty from Emotiva. I just bought an Emotiva XPA-5 at Craigslist for $600 and the owner said it still has more than 4 years of warranty for he just bought it last December. He replaced his XPA-5 with the XPA-2, now I know i got a good deal coz I know the XPA-5 normally goes in the market for atleast $700. Now my question is how the the transferable warranty works? If let say I find something wrong I can just return it to the manufacturer and they will fix it? and btw I am getting the original packaging and invoice, Thanks and any info will help. I don't have the amplifier yet but we will meet tomorrow so I can check it and test it first. any tips on what to look for before purchasing it?

There is an entire website dedicated exclusively to EMOTIVA, I suggest you ask there to get the most accurate information.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. +1 on asking on their website/forum, but since I've already bothered to read and post, and since I once had a pair of their amps and sold them, I'll tell you that it's as easy as having the seller send an email to their customer service address with the model/serial and your (buyer's) info.
