I've always had great results with Musical Fidelity gear, but never knew they produced speakers. These look interesting . . .

http://cgi.ebay.com/MUSICAL-FIDELITY-MC4-LOUDSPEAKERS-SPEAKERS-/200615082839?pt=UK_AudioVideoElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_HiFiSpeakers&hash=item2eb5973b57

Has anyone had any experience with the model above, or any other Musical Fidelity speakers.

I'm not going to bid on these, but if I ever see a pair locally I want to have some idea of what would be a good deal.

P.S.: those tweeters look almost "Polk-like"

NOTE to mods: I meant to post in "Vintage Speakers" forum and have no idea how I posted it here. Sorry.

Moved the thread for you. Those are interesting. Midwoofs look like vintage Spendor.

    Cheers,

They remind me of old Celestion bookends. I'd bid on them just to hear them but alas, they're across the pond.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I really appreciate the look of the mirrored design with the grills off.

I guess $250-350 local stateside is what these might go for and I'm going to start watching local sales and craigslist, etc.

    Thanks for moving the post!
