Polk Blackstones - Possible Computer speakers?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone's tried any of the new Blackstones as their computer speakers? Am considering a pair of the TL3s (partnered with a PSW111) but not too sure how they'd work out.

    I has actually suggested to Polk Audio CS that there is a market for desktop / computer hifi and that the Blackstone teamed with a nice little sub, DAC and a Tripath amp would make a nice package. They seemed to like the idea and would pass it along. If we keep talking about it, it may cone into being.

    Is direct from Polk the only place to get the TL3's?
    I know Best Buy carries the 1's but no others.

    I'm planning on using the TL3's as desktop pc speakers. I was hoping to snag one of the demo pairs for a listen prior to pulling the trigger, but we'll see how patient I am. I have a pair of modded AV123 ELT-525's I am using now, it will be interesting to see how the TL3's compare in nearfield mode. I drive my PC/desktop system with a CA 550Cv2 integrated, so plenty of power on tap.
