Rti4 or deftech studiomonitor 350???
Hello guys,
i currently have rti4 with a csi3 center and use them for ht, currently using my rtia7 just for 2 channel. So i have an opportunity of purchasing a pair of def tech studiomonitor350 for a good price and have somebody that wants to purchase the rti4 from me.
Which is the better speaker of the two? How do the studio monitor sound for 2 channel? Will it be an upgrade?
Please let me know.
Only people with experience with both speakers please

It depends what a good price is. The DT is only a slightly higher-end speaker. If you're only using them for HT, I don't see the value in "upgrading," especially since they don't match your center. This one is all about what please your ears. Personally, I would stay with what you have. I've listened to music through both, and it was a toss-up. The DT is, IMO, a little prettier to look at.
