PNF Icon ICs

Looking for a pair of PNF ICON unbalanced (RCA) interconnects. PM if anybody has a pair kicking around. After 6 weeks of waiting for Steve Jain to ship them I have had to file a paypal claim. At this point the little bugger wont return any messages email or paypal.
I just wanted a set to match my PNF Symphony speaker cables.:frown:

    That's a common compliant about PNF now. There's been a couple threads about that.

    Keep up the search because they are totally worth it. I put up my Icons to many different brands and the PNF's always sounded better in my system.

    They pop up on Audiogon every now and then.

    Yeah, I heard the result is greater than the sum of its parts when using PNF all around.
    I should have bought them last year, but being a student I had trouble justifying 130 bones for IC's when I had some decent ones already.
    Now that summers here I have some money in my pocket. I also snagged a B&K Ref 200.2 to handle the LSI15's and relieve my Yamaha AVR.

    Ern Dog, do you have any raw Symphony cable at all? I need some jumpers now that I wont be bi-amping the LSIs...l

    That B&K ref amp is pretty sweet and I bet it sounds great paired with your Lsi15's.

    A matter of fact, I do have some extra Symphony cable to make jumpers. How much do you need?

    I made some DH Labs jumpers out of some Q-10 and it was chocking my speakers and I never realized it until I made some PNF jumpers and it totally opened everything up. Like you said there was synergy with everything being PNF.

    Not sure on the exact length needed. I would be using the jumpers on the 15's. How long are your jumpers?? When I made jumpers from my original speaker cable (Monster XP) they were only about 2.5 inches long, but the symphony i much more rigid. Approx 1 foot would do. However, if you have around 1.5-2 ft. avail I could make a set of jumpers for the LSI 7's. Let me know. Thanks alot Ern Dog

    Here is a pic of my home-made PNF jumpers. I used quality solid copper banana plugs then finished it with some heat shrink.

    I'll send you what I have left, which is about 2 feet worth and one end is terminated with bananas. Don't forget when you are making them that they are directional. It was a noticeable difference when I placed them in the wrong way. And just to make matters more confusing, the direction the arrows point on the cable are pointing in the reverse direction. They must have goofed when they were putting it together.

    I will, my B&K 200.2 seems to be working fine. And boy what a difference. I called in sick (hehehehehe) and spent the entire day (minus the sleep in) listening to my favourite CDs. I am glad I had the oppurtunity to get a separate power amp, but man I need to find some PNF Icons. There is a pair on ebay sourced from thailand, but they want like $250 plus ship which is way too steep. God damn Steve Jain, why couldnt he have shipped em before $hitting the bed completely. Oh well.... Maybe some Kimber Hereos (I think they are teflon air core insulated and copper conductor like the ICONS).
    Anyway if anybody comes across a pair of ICONS on the net plz let me know.
    For now the Agon, Canuck A mart, Club Polk, and E-bay scour dilegentally continues.
    Thanks again for the jumpers Ern Dog they will serve me MUCH better than the monster XP ones I have in place.
