Wharfedale

I love my Polks but definitely think it's time to upgrade. While it may not be a HUGE step up, the Wharfedale speakers I'm looking at have a pretty big following in England. I have no way of auditioning them is the only thing. From what I've read, they have a sound similar to KEFs - warm and smooth. I used to own their iQ system and if the Wharfedale system is anything like it, then I can't imagine being unhappy. The system I'm looking consists of the following:
9.4 fronts
9.CM center
9.SR surrounds
All for about $500 SHIPPED. For the price, I don't think I can go wrong. I'm going to keep my Klipsch sub woofer for now although I am looking at upgrading to an HSU at some point.
Has anyone here ever listened to Wharfedales and if so, what did you think of them?

I use the Diamond 8.4 for LR in my home theater with a 9CS center and DFS in the rear. I like the wharfedales very much and used the 8.4 for music only before I started to use them for movies. I am still looking for some Opus2/3's for music only.MAIN:Kenwood M2a,C2,Sansui TU-517,Yamaha CDX-1100,Kenwood GE-1100,Nakamichi BX150,SDA 2a,Kenwood Ka-801,HPM-100

I just put my Diamond 8.4's back into action after selling my Lsi's. They do a nice job overall, but find them a bit better for movies over music.

Thanks for info guys. The system will be for movies mostly with only a little bit of casual music listening. Reviews for the Diamond series are very positive so I'm stoked.Display: Sony 42" LCD
