Help Choosing Speakers

Hi, i have an old Alpine Amp v12 MRV-F545 rated 125 x 4 @4 ohms and 250x2 @2 ohms only channels 3&4 and i`m not thinking about change my speakers amp.
My first choice for speakers in my budget were the Polk Audio MM6501 for the front and the Polk Audio MM691 for the rear; but the Polk Audio Mobile Monitor series are rated 2.7 ohms. Here is the question, could this amp not 2 ohm stable in the front channels run the 2.7 ohm polk audio speakerssafely whit no overheating? or i must go for the Polk DB series rated @4 ohms; also are the mobile series worth the extra money from the db series?
Some sites states that the 2 ohms rated speakers have true four ohm technology. but i dont know if the Mobile Monitor Speakers could run safely in a HU or an amp not stable in a 2 ohm load.

The impedance of the speaker will actually vary with heat so it won't always be 2.7 ohms. Your amp will be fine running these speakers. V12's are high quality amps, you won't have any problem.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

is there much diference in sound between the mm6501 component and the mm651 coaxials? the components are $50 more. My car is a 2007 Camry LE -
Yeah, kinda. The component will have a better crossover and better tweeter I think. Plus youll have the benefit of being able to mount the tweeter where you want it. If youve got the $50 to spend, it is worth it.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
