Kinda need u guys to direct me where to purchase a nice one for the kitchen or can I just get the one from Costco? I believe 3stage is sufficient.

The RO will be distributed to ice maker (5ft away), a counter dispenser (1-2 ft), and a filler faucet (5ft away). My assumption that I need at least 2 ROs to supply all the output.

What are you talking about? Reverse osmosis is a term used to describe an action, not an object. You can't have 2 or 3 reverse osmosis.

Unless you are referring to a reverse osmosis water filter?

ever thought about deionization? RO is great but waste's a lot of water in the process. YOu can get the same results from DI without the waste water.

    where do you live ?
Is there a problem with the water supplier ?

My next door neighbor is public water expert and does not
think any filtration is really needed but it is specific to the locality.

I use a Aquapuration DI-220, 2.5 by 20 purifier, pricey at about $200, and I still use a Brita filling station after that for my bottled water for the house, it's just nasty stuff we get here in Tucson from the infamous CAP system of garbage they call water in the desert, Yuck! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Arizona_Project

I got spoiled living in NYC, their water is awesome!
