pretty sure it officially makes me a grumpy old man when I point out how it is not a karma to offer a burnt copy of CD.

The plus gained from offering something to someone is kind of washed out by the negative of stealing a copy of the CD.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

I was thinking the same thing. Also, does this expose Polk to liability for allowing this? I appreciate the idea by Ern, but I think the karma should be for an original copy to avoid this potential issue. That said, I'm not in.

Since I do not qualify for the drawing...

While I appreciate the offer (and will buy the CD just on recommendation) thanks:smile:

I am surprised an audio manufacturer with their own intellectual property to protect is not coming to the aid of the artist in question.

This is piracy and copyright infringement plain and simple. Scale does not matter. This is not the first thread that I have seen with an offer of CD copying (some have been in bulk). Really surprised it is allowed. Just saying.

So I bet you stand outside of the local library and picket during your free time because they loan dvd's and music cd's and I bet they don't pay a royalty everytime some one "borrows" one. You think all those people aren't pirating them from the library????? There's where you should take a stand if you are so offended and are a defender of starving musical artists. Make it your lifes work so it counts for something.

Ern isn't selling it, he's giving away a copy, like I do to all my friends when I find a good piece of music. Lighten up, there are FAR more things to get all hacked off about in the world today rather than someone giving away a copy of cool music.

Well, apparently this is why the artists are starving. On Amazon, as of this very moment you can purchase a brand spankin' new CD of this karma for $33.44 and up. The used copy is going for $59.06.
