The OBDII karma

Ok, time to push my agenda. A scan tool in every garage!
This is for local DFW Polkies. Three rules.

1. You must own at least 1 car over 5 years old.
2. You must work on your own cars.
3. If you don't need it anymore-it goes back up for karma.

One Innova 3100 scan tool. Older unit, you have to use a book to
look up the codes. Book included. Must be willing to pick up in
Flower Mound (north end of lake Grapevine). I finally moved up
to a modern unit last year with some better stuff in it, but this
one will get the basics done. I'll pick a winner on Wenesday.

Good luck with the car. I get the feeling you'll have that one solved
    by sometime tomorrow.
As my dad told me, and I told my sons, be handy, or be walking!

Boy, for a while there I thought I'd have to keep it.
Please keep in mind I have another, should someone need to ever
borrow one. That one is pretty spiffy.
I'll give until after lunch to see if anyone else chimes in.

Hot damn, I'm definitely in. I got a beater of a '98 camaro that I can't even get inspected right now b/c I have codes firing. We also have two other cars over 5 years old now.

Just take the instrument cluster out and remove the lights on the back of it...problem solved:biggrin:

They started checking for set codes as part of the inspection a couple of years ago. Another reason to have one!
