Polk Surround Bar 360

Up for grabs, a Surround Bar 360 rig.

I picked this up awhile ago, and for what it is, it's pretty awesome....it beats the snot out of any HTiB I've ever heard. For movies, add a sub, done. For music, which is what my HT plays primarily....while not 'bad'...I couldn't hook the outdoor speakers to it as well as the .5lb R10's in the kitchen.

Anyhow, low mileage. Original box with all the goodies. (no sub)

How's $200 plus ship sound?

Tough crowd. I think everyone is either really content with their setup, or LSiM fever is starting to spread. That 360 is a nice unit. You don't need a sub honestly but its super easy to add one.

Troy, can I get a picture of this? Even if it is just one you find online. Does this include the DVD console?

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Tempting here too but I have an unreasonable amout of speakers at the moment. This is a great speaker for $200!

Yes, console comes with it, the whole enchilada....the link has the stock pics. If needed, I can snap some this weekend (it's in Charleston)

Very tempting for our bedroom. This is a great deal and I will be thinking about it, but by all means don't hold it for me.

    Hi Troy,
Does this soundbar have analog inputs so that it can be used with other sources/amps, or do you have to use the included Polk console? I cannot find a picture of the soundbards rear, other than the large umbilical cord to the Polk console. Thanks, Venom

I was wondering the exact same thing.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

It's got three (I think) analog inputs...

Check out the product page...there is a pretty good shot of the rear end of the console.

As far as plugging to the bar from another amp? No. The only input to the bar itself is the umbilical chord from the DVD console.

This creates a more diffuse and engaging surround field experience than the other SurroundBar options by use of a very cool DSP engine.

It's quite unique and sounds very good overall. If it had been marketed differently, was Blu-Ray capable and mainly priced lower when it originally came out....it could have been a huge seller. At this price, it's a steal and perfect for a small HT or awesome for a bedroom rig.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
