Please help with upgrade

I could really use some advice here I'm upgrading my ht from my small htib satellites and had my heart set on the Polk cs10 tsi400's and monitor 30 surrounds. But I just found out I'm gonna be coming into some unexpected money, so I can step up from the tsi's. Which means I have to upgrade everything since i read my 90w a channel denon won't push better speakers. I've been trying to figure out what speakers I want, but there are too many options and I know too little to make a decision. Im planning on trying them out before I buy, if I can. But i need an idea of what to try out. I know energy Polk paradigm and this brand aperion I heard of are all good speakers. I've been looking at the Polk lsi series but I don't know which of these other brands compare to these.

Any idea how much I should spend on a receiver and amp? I'm not sure how the rec/amp thing works either. I like my denon even though the display went out, and I hear good things about Onkyo. Ill be using it for movies and gaming I have a 5.1 and have two speakers on my patio. But was wondering about the front height and front wide setup. Is it worth the extra money for the receiver? My budget is between $4,000-5,000 for everything. Any help I can get is appreciated. Thanks.

First if your budget is around 4000$-5000$ i would chose other set of speakers , for a receiver you have from Pioneer , Yamaha , Denon , Onkyo , Integra , Anthem etc , one thing you should keep in mind buy something that as pre outs .Regarding the speakers you should take a look at the RTi line , surrounds a Di/Bipole speakers and subs from SVS , epic , you have a lot of to chose for .:biggrin:
