I have this bunch of good classical, but not a complete set. "The 100 Greatest Recordings of All Time" from The Franklin Mint Record Society/Tire & Front End Center. Columbia Special products is involved. There are supposed to be 50 volumes. I have 30 or 31 (I got messed up around 30 when I was counting) volumes. Each volume is two lp's. Each lp that I have looked at is:

1. Absolutely flawless.

2. Red vinyl. Or plum colored vinyl.

3. By a good band/conductor. The one I pulled out for exact wording here is The Columbia Symphony/Bruno Walter doing Beethoven's 6th Symphony. Others I have pulled out feature Vienna/Von K, Cleveland/Szell, you get the idea.

4. Some are made in England, I remember the Vienna/Von K was marked as such.

5. Each volume is a boxed affair (2 lp's) in a hard plastic, gate-fold type box with further hard plastic "covers" for each lp. You could put an ashcan inside one, light the fuse, close the gate-fold and nothing would happen to either lp when it blew. Good packaging.

Either 60 or 62 albums, $125 local pick-up only.

Big Dawg has dibs.
