Would a class D or AB be better to run for just sound qaulity?
any if you guys have any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

class ab amps sterotypically have better sonic characteristics than D's do.
why do u wnat a 1500 watt at 1 ohm class D brutus for use with a single 4 ohm coil 500 watt sub?
I say the Zeus 600watt or the PG 500.2
however i'd try to buy something new not used... unless you're buying it from me and i'm in a good mood, a used amp most likely is one with issues. The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge -
the bx1500 had like 500 wrms @ 4ohm as well
so i guess im going with a class AB amp most likely the PG
thanks for your input PBD -
u can also take a look @ www.mitekfactoryoutlet.com and click on car audio - then click on amplifiers - then scroll down to "Blue Thunder Pro 150.2" -- its like 240 bucks refurbed (probably has a whole new board). its a killer amp, and the specs lie - they'll do roughly 450 - 500 x 1 at 14 volts if not more... buit like tanks too.The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge

hehehe, that link gave me an idea for an interim setup :D
3 8" bluthunder legend's with the 12ohm vc's running at 4ohm off the pro150x2r :D that'd probably sound pretty sweet :DHemi: (HEM -e) adj. Mopar in type, V8, hot tempered, native to the United States, carnivorous, eats primarily Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes. Also enjoys smoking a good import now and then to relax. -
blue thunder legend = *vomit*
blue thunder extreme = *happy smiley face*
legend's were "legendary" for coming unglued and being royal pieces of choad.
however that 150.2 is pimpin...The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge -
get the 150.2 and the littler one too...
run the fronst off the 150.2 at like 140-ish each and run the backs off the littler one at like 75-90 each. i think its a pro752 or something. The Artist formerly known as PoweredByDodge
