    what size are MW8103's?

    Are they a viable replacement for an MW 8102?

    7.5" and no idea... the MW8103s came from RT16s.

    i called polk and they did say they are 7.5 but i needed to talk with Kim to see if they were a viable option for the MW8002.
    I misidentidied them yesterday as 8102's.
    They have different voice coils and spiders but no info on if they would be a good swap out.

    Do you still have the MW8103's? I recently got a used pair of RT16's and one of the woofers is producing a lot of buzzing distortion. It goes away for a while if I tap on the speaker cone so I think it's got some voice coil rub due to cone misalignment. I could definitely benefit from replacing that one and having an extra stowed away as well.

    Still have them... have not heard back from the 'pending' in a while. Will package the extra RT16 parts if you are interested in them as well. PM sent with specifics.

    The MW8000 and the MW8002 are interchangeable.
