Don't replace all the screws so when you do something wrong, its easy to remove again. Are you simply replacing it w/ a Parts Express amp or something similar that fits?
I know a couple other folks that have done this but wouldn't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing....not to say you don't.
Why not expound upon your project?CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Guess i could have written that differently..Srry dude..I was wondering if this has been done and have they posted any results? I havent bought an amp yet but thinking something in the range of 150 to 200 watts wouldnt put much more stress on the sub..I like the sound of whats in it but in my room could use a lil more a#$..Was debating shipping them back to amazon in exchange for another f12 or selling them outright to someone interested..only 2 weeks old..Any thoughts or ideas on this would be appreciated..Ive been on parts express doin some homework..Are they the only parts site on the web? Has to be some other competition I would think..
