Hell yeah, baby. Gonna go to Atlanta and visit friends and get my audio learn on, then off to Florida. Cape Coral to be exact. After 800 or so miles of traveling, the folks I want to meet up with down in Florida are only 6.3 miles away from each other. Who knew?

I love it when a plan comes together.

Upcoming? Zu audio speakers, B&W [Which I'm not a big fan of, but we'll see], new LP cartridges, tube gear, SS gear, Dynaudio and plenty more. In Atlanta, the folks I would like to get up with are only 5 miles away. Pretty amazing how small this world actually is.

On my way in T-minus 17 hours....

No can do this go'round buddy. I'll be going to Atlanta, then shooting straight down 75. You are WAY out of the way for this trip.

Consider it done. I'm packing up right now. Russ isn't coming, so it's just me. Thanks Micheal.

Well, I'm back and everything made it back safely. I'd like to say thanks to Troy [Fishbones] for the opportunity to meet up with him and his family, see his gorgeous home and do a lot of gear swapping in his listening room. This cat is just as crazy as we are in trying to find our own slice of audio nirvana.

Thanks also goes out to Jerry12 and his lovely wife Nikki. Good grief, we must have listened to more speakers than you could have at an audio store. That chicken BBQ was off the hook!

All in all, it was a trip well worth it. I learned some things, met up with great friends of mine and met a new one. While I was down in Florida, I had a chance to also meet up with James and his two daughters, Alex, Dave, and Roy [engtaz] even drove 2 hours to pay a visit.

I had a great time. The entire trip went without a hitch until I arrived in Columbia, SC. I stopped to drain the lizard and as I was walking out of the store, a group of people came up to me and asked if I was driving the white truck outside. Some nice guy gave me a lasting reminder of this audio trip. He hit my truck pulling into the parking space beside me. Ah, such is life. Good news is, the audio gear is A-OK.

Thanks again fellas, I had a blast.

Good Lord...some fool hit you...with audio equipment inside? Retards! Sorry to hear that buddy! But, at least the gear is okay.

Your welcome Tom...it was great meeting you, Roy and friends. Thanks for coming down and bringing your gear, it was a blast swapping stuff out and talkin audio for hours on end. Roy, thanks a great deal for taking the time also to help dial-in the speakers, sorry you couldn't stay longer. I'll let you guys know how it goes with the new tube amp coming from Zingo. Thanks for trying to get the most out of my finicky speakers.
