I'm sure there was a thread about measuring DC voltage at an amplifiers speaker terminals but I can't find it. If you can point me in the right direction please do so.
If there wasn't one and you're a techie please start one.:smile:

What do you need to know aside from using a VOM?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

The two multimeters I use have digital readouts and when they're turned to DC voltage there are four zeros with the decimal point set at 10ths. MV appears on the right side of the readout so it seems that any reading would be in mv. A reading of 2.0 would be 2mv as I understand it. The instruction book doesn't fully explain the readings.
I don't use a vom often and when I do it's for continuity and battery checking. I really do need some help whether it's how to read a vom or where I can find what I need to know to read the digital meter I have. I appreciate all suggestions you have. Thank you.
