WTB Older Center Channel with Tri-Laminate tweeters

Hello all,

I am looking for a center channel to match-up with my RT1000p towers, with the Tri-Laminate tweeters. Some suitable suitors that I have been looking at include:

-CS300
-CS350
-CS400

-CS245i
-CS400i

-Or any other centers out there with:
>=4in woofers & >=1in Tri-Laminate tweeters
(I know that some of the older RM HT sets had similar centers included)

Been watching Ebay and Craigslist but have yet to find a nice one!

    There is a CS400 in the FS section.

    I've owned every RT series speaker made. The CS400 is a great match for your setup.

    Also, I should take the CS350 off of my list, as it is 26in wide! and I only have about 20in to work with.

    There's no replacement for displacement, love my 350 :biggrin:

    Ken, I hear ya, wish I could work it in!...but the yammy 1800 is a tank and hogs up too much my center cabinet (much larger and beefier than the Onkyo 508 she displaced).

    I build custom speaker cabinets I could build a box to fit what ever size you want it but I still need to make up the volume somewhere , so if its 20 not 26 it would have to be deeper or taller , I have a cs350 I just built that I am about to sell .
    Whats nice is I can do whatever finish and grill you want .

    Hey all,
    Thanks for all the feedback, I just won a CS300 off eBay (should arrive tomorrow). Seems like it will be the best fit (CS400 was even a little to tight, and I couldn't angle it) and cant wait to get it hooked up. I also picked up pair of RT2000p's ,RT7's and a PSW300 to finish this setup, and it sounds great even with my old center.

    I talked to him on the phone, really nice guy, and he is ready to ship (was only $24 to PA). Seems to be in great condition, he even played it over the phone for me (even though I couldn't gauge much from that!). But for $50, its a steal.

    I'll get some up soon, right now I have the other towers lined up on both sides of the TV (2000's, 1000s & R40s) creating a menacing "wall of sound" appearance. Its glorious.
