Looking for any info on this Hitachi, very little on line. I'm thinking about trading a pair of DCM KX-12 S2's. I will never use the DCM's, is this a good move? Thanks for the help.

Hitachi HMA-8500MK II should be a very nice amplifier. I have it's little brother HMA-7500MKII and sounds very musical and can drive 4 ohms load with ease.

It's worth buying but not sure the price coz you are making a trade and I don't know the value of the DCM speakers. I would research the value of the DCM and make sure it doesn't worth more than $300 or I would be on the losing side in the trade.

So are you saying the Hitachi is worth $200-$300?

For a Full working and Nice Cosmetics HMA-8500MKII? YES for 200+.

What color is it? I would pay $200 easy on this one if it's in Champagne Gold.

Black? I'd still pay $200!

$300? Well, it depends how seriously I want it. If it's in good shape, I'd say there are people who is willing to pay the asking price.

HMA-7500 MKII and MHA-8500 MKII are well hidden gems and they are MOSFETs amps.

Thank you for the information, I think I will make the deal. I'm not going to use the DCM's, so it's a good deal for me.
