Sure they can handle it. You'll probably never reach 120 watts with normal viewing anyway. It's usually not enough power that causes the problem with speaker damage.

I'm confused - wasn't this thread answered the other day?

You can connect them to any amp, as long as you don't turn them up too loud. If everything is connected and calibrated properly, you'll lose your hearing first, THEN you might damage the speaker.

It doesn't really matter as only a few watts will be used....and the transients are instantaneous.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Dude, your too hung up on the watts thing. Klipsch speakers are pretty easy to drive, I see alot of wasted wattage going on that route.
Maybe if you tell us what exactly your trying to accomplish, or what you don't like about your rig, we can better help ya out.

    +1 to what Tony said.

Not only that, is the entire setup you listed your home theater system?

You might want to work on timbre-matching first, at least your front soundstage. From the looks of it, you just got a bunch of good (but mismatching) speakers and threw them altogether expecting them to sound good.

There is no such thing as driving a speaker with too much power. The more good clean wattage a speaker is getting, the better. Odds are, the speakers would never even draw anywhere close to that amps full power output though, especially in surround positions. A speaker is only going to draw as much power as it needs at any given moment. Most of the time, they'll only be drawing a few watts from the amp.
