I ordered 10 feet of this wire to go from my crossovers to my amps since my crossovers now sit right on top of the amps...

Well I went a little crazy---

I took two runs of 2.5 ft cable and made a Bi-Wire set...

It looks like a mad scientist experiment...

If I like it I will run Q-10 from the crossover to the speakers and crossover to amp - the inside of the speakers are wired up with T-14...

Shall be interesting! :)

And yes - I purposely reversed the phase on the crossover end (Candela reverses phase)

That is fun wire at 10AWG conductors, and it has a great look to it as well. Good luck with the mad scientist work and I bet it sounds great!

Let me guess, since you just sold your MIT cables and spent your money on these <insert new cable name here>...they will either sound amazing and be the best improvement ever or do some things better with a bit more nuance and be just enough to keep them for now.

I see this in the FM area in 6 months....enjoy! Trey you slay me but it does look cool. Post a link since the cat's out of the bag....or is it?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Mark you are fun.

I havent let the cat out yet ;)

I even unplugged the RCA for your amusement :)

The only reason I am trying this is when I sat back and looked at everything - I have these Shotgun speaker cables... then go into my pretty crossover boxes which I used 20 guage cable in there - no secrets...

And at one point I had 20 guage wire in my speakers!

So Im thinking what if I just use good quality wire (very very short lengths) from the crossover to the amp... then use good quality wire from the crossovers to the speakers then good quality, heavier guage wire in the speakers - what would be the outcome...

Shall see. I have an ear infection right now so I cant do much of any listening... :(

    Thanks!
